Dennis Fairweather

Dennis Fairweather is self-taught and began working with clay while running a trout farm on the west coast of Scotland. He focused first on large solid bronze resin garden sculptures which he continues to make but, since moving to the Isle of Wight in 2007 he has also been making smaller pieces in stoneware clay. Having shaped them in clay, he paints them in slips and oxides and fires them at high temperature.
